Bermuda Mk.I Navy dive bomber named Buccaneer was developed by Brewster Company to fulfill US Navy order. Due to the production troubles the delivery of the production machines was delayed and the standard US Navy dive bomber became the competitor SB2C Helldiver. Even though, more than thousand Buccaneers were produced. Bermuda Mk.I was the designation of the version that was ordered by RAF. Only few machines from the 800 that were ordered finally reached Great Britain. They were used in non-combat roles, mainly for training.
