The Daimler armoured vehicle is of British origin, a larger version of the Daimler reconnaissance vehicle equipped with the turret of the Tetrak Light Tank. This four-wheel-drive vehicle has an independent suspension, and is highly reliable even on rough terrain; it was considered as the most suitable vehicle for reconnaissance and escort missions. It was operated in North Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia during World War II, and was in use until the 1960s.
