Again we're proud to showcase among our pages this incredible assembly and painting work accompanied with his incredible illustrations and color charts. A special "black cross" section wouldn't have been the same without his work.    Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. JA rare bird which is not that rare. This small reconnaissance AFV had a very short production run and in spite of that several brands have produced it over the years and its presence is also common on several contests. There's surely a reason for that, no doubt. The beauty of this vehicle is well represented in our newest collaborator Ivan Drond's work. The assembly of this piece is very complete and complex, detailed with photoetched and home-made elements. The overall result is very natural looking.14.- Sd.Kfz 6/2Another newcomer, in this case from right here in Spain. We love the exquisite painting technique that José María carries out, both on the vehicle and the figures. The vehicle has a slight modulation that is masterfully complemented with a very elaborate weathering. We also want to highlight the scratchbuilt base, as well as the figure conversión work.26.- Sd.Kfz 7/1We want to highlight the great build and incredible detailing and scratchbuilding which Sergey has accomplished in this scale, 1/72, where the task is especially difficult. The painting equally well done, employing many techniques, including pre-shading. The result is effective and convincing, as you will see.38.- WirbeldwindAs always, Angel offers us a magnificently built and detailed work. You can't miss his fantastic explanatory drawings. Not content to share his incredible building and drawings skills, Angel offers us a really attractive winter camouflage with the most convincing weathering.52.- Sd.Kfz 7/2A good winter camouflage is always admired. Jenson shows us his particular way of executing it. His painting is based on the lacquer technique, and the use of acrylics and pigments. Of particular interest is his approach to applying these techniques. The result is a very realistic finish. Do not miss this article by this great modeller from Shanghai.

We present to you the new issue of Panzer Aces magazine. Contents:    2.- Ural 4320 BM21 GradUndertaking a truck like this in the 1/48 scale and in resin isn't in every modeler's purview. It is also quite complicated to make hard edged camouflage masking on the difficult surfaces of this BM21. Domingo again makes a full use of his skills with this special and original piece. Do not miss out on his work applying dirt on the lower areas of his vehicle.    14.- BRDM2Joaquín García Gázquez is back with a masterclass with this light vehicle on wheels. As usual, Joaquín engages in an uncomplicated assembly work, which is at the same time quite enjoyable and neglects no details. He caps his work with a fantastic paintjob that you will be able to appreciate in concise step by step pictures. A true classic; as usual.    28.- MAZ 537This is another heavy vehicle on wheels, and it is Mikolaj Marcinowski's introductory project. This spectacular truck has been carefully detailed with both P.E. pieces and some scratch work. But the real treat here is the uncomplicated, direct and realistic paintwork that he has done.    38.- T-90Chema Cabrero is another frequent featured author, and he shows us his particular take on this MBT. The last generation model kits have such a high quality detail, that we can often get spectacular results like this particular Meng product. Chema's paintjob is based on a light color modulation enhancing the different elements on the turret of this T-90. He has also opted for leaving the engine compartment open which is not that common at all. Also unusual as well is the exclusive use of acrylic paint in this kit.    50.- ZMAÖzgur Günner is a frequent Turkish collaborator featured in many publications making his debut in this issue of Panzer Aces with this original ZMA. Turkish vehicles aren't frequently featured around, and in this case Özgur has made the choice of faithfully portraying this light 113 vehicle from a reference picture. As you'll see he has successfully recreated the peculiar NATO colors seen in the real life vehicle.

In this case we'll like to point out the mileage he's gotten from the accessories, tarps, additional track links, etc. used to infuse life into this peculiar vehicle. He also explains in his usual skillful manner all the paint treatments he's used on his Churchill.16- Cruiser Tank A13 MKIII.Another in-house author: Chema Cabrero. He's created this simple yet beautiful scene designed to enhance this fabulous A 13. A most unusual vehicle in shows in spite of its beauty and fantastic painting possibilities it offers. Chema knows better and has recreated a "Counter" camo without any "fantasy" colors in a well-documented and executed vehicle displaying his phenomenal skills. This is a feature where acrylic paint rules; this article is a good excuse for learning more about their use and possibilities.28- Cruiser Tank Mk VI (A-15) Crusader III.Juan Luis Mercadal is a Panzer Aces veteran. This is for a reason. Anybody who's read any of his articles (and this one is no exception) knows how attentive to detail he is and how well documented his works are. This is exactly what you'll find here, a careful assembly where he takes care and improves every little detail on this vehicle, capping off his work with a highly realistic and perfectly executed paintjob. We can't ask for more.40- The Queen of the Desert. Matilda Mk.II A.Fernando Granell Olszewski is a way too young Valencian modeler with an unusual talent as you'll find out in this article featuring the Matilda in a medium sized scale. In here he'll show us how he follows step by step a number of different elaborate techniques backed by numerous pictures. The results are absolutely spectacular.50- Grant Tank MKI.And the son learned from the father. Fernando Granell Bosch tells us about the exhaustive detailing work done on this model kit. This is full of merit when taking the scale into consideration. Additionally he's created a dio framing, enhancing and placing this Grant AFV in a desert scene. We love the result he's achieved along with the realistic effect created by his appealing painting techniques

One of the main features of his work is a careful assembly always improved and seasoned with a wide array of accessories. But this is not the only reason we've published his "Little Bitch", his elaborate step by step explanations for his painting processes have also played a part.    14.- SU-76iIt's unbelievable what you can do with a 1/72 scale model kit. Take for instance the BOS in the last AMT Torrent. That's something you don't see every day. You'll love Fernando's ability to get the most out of an "impossible scale" like this one. He's done it with an assembly brimming with all sorts of improvements (don't forget we're talking about 1/72 scale). He culminates his work with a most interesting paint process explained in all sorts of detail. You'll be surprised.    24.- SU-85A "brand new" modeler from Eastern Europe, Dimitrii delights us with a most extraordinary piece. I'm sure that we will hear a lot from him in the future. For now, let's enjoy the incredible interior work he's done with this Miniart kit. It goes without saying that you will enjoy the exterior of the vehicle just as much. He's obtained a most realistic finish with very simple and very effective techniques. He's also added a few accessories which make the vehicle's appearance that much more attractive .    40.- SU-122The effective simplicity of Tamiya's kits; Michel gets the most out of this mid-scale piece. We will like to point out from this article the huge benefits obtained by the –obsolete?- drybrush technique combined with the more recent hairspray technique. As usual, he makes the most out of the shapes and textures of this wonderful vehicle, making it particularly alluring from a visual standpoint. He does an attractive paintjob, based as usual in small details.    50.- Su-152Each of Sergiusz's work is homage to good taste and the most exquisite painting techniques. This SU-122 is no exception and in this article you may learn a whole bunch of techniques and different mediums. You will also enjoy an outstanding work of micro-painting definitely not for everyone. The result is obviously a kit with a high degree of highly credible realistic detail and lots of visual interest.    60.- SU-100This time, Sancar Buhur our new collaborator, takes the veteran Dragon kit and with a few home made improvements and a few added items makes an awesome kit, full of visual interest. His techniques can be perfectly well appreciated in his pictures.
